After a good night's sleep, I awoke early and headed into the woods for a morning ride. Sometimes I enjoy the surrounding areas, and I often need my alone time, away from all of the other travelers on the pilgrimage. This morning it was just my horse and me. We entered into the forest just as sunrise was occurring. At first the ride was very enjoyable, and I loved the beauty of the forest. Soon after I had just begun to relax, my horse was startled my another creature in the forest. Suddenly, my horse began to buck and kick. I was tossed from my horse and landed upon a large branch that had fallen from a nearby tree. At that moment I thought my days on the pilgrimage were done. My back was in extreme pain, and I was far from the others. I then remembered that Knights continued through agony and pain, and decided that if I too would like to gain the Knight status, I must stand up and head back. In the end my back felt fine. However, I still think I will get my back checked out tomorrow. I am supposed to return to the Doctor anyways in regards to the healing of my leg.
Advice for the day: There will be days that you are flat-out very unlucky.
